Parish Council Elections

Would you be interested in becoming a parish councillor?

The Parish Council meets monthly (except August and December) and deals with a wide range of issues that affect the local community, including planning, footpaths, speed bumps, streetlights, the children's play area, the skateboard park and much, much more.

Harbury has ten seats available, all of which are full at the present time. However, the whole Council will stand for re-election on 1 May 2008, to coincide with District Elections.

If you would be interested in helping your local community and having a greater say in the way the village is run, becoming a Parish Councillor could be for you. Alternatively, do you know someone with the necessary 'life skills' who would be interested?

For further details and nomination forms please contact the Parish Clerk.
